I Will Work In Partnership With Every City’s Administration Across The County, Along With County Agencies, Community Organizations And Advocates To Provide Innovative Solutions To Reduce The Occurrence Of Violent Crime In Franklin County.

K-9 Unit Recognized

Congratulations to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Therapy K9 Unit on being recognized nationally by The Office for Victims of Crime. The OVC annually recognizes individuals and organizations that demonstrate outstanding service in victim support.
 
Prosecutor’s and Victim Advocates have seen the difference the Therapy K9 Unit makes in the lives of victims by comforting them through these difficult times.

Conviction Integrity Unit

The Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office is in the process of establishing a Conviction Integrity Unit. Policies and procedures are being developed to ensure the unit has a solid foundation built upon Ohio Law, transparency, and evidence-based research. The office is not accepting referrals at this time. Please check here for updates.

Francine Matteson and the Prosecutor's Office recognized for CCC Involvement.

We would like to announce that the Prosecutor's Office and Francine Matteson have been recognized for our participation in the Combined Charitable Campaign (CCC) . Our office has been congratulated for achieving 100% of our goal and Francine has been recognized for her outstanding service as Coordinator. We were also awarded this year’s Circle of Excellence Award for participation in the CCC. Each year only one county department is recognized.
